Our much loved family home is for sale in the very attractive New England university city of Armidale. It is situated on an elevated block in a desirable south Armidale location within walking distance of primary and secondary schools, playing fields and large arboretum. The house was built in the 1970's by a German family and we are just the third owners and have been there since 2005 when we began extensive renovations. Armidale is a university town located midway between Sydney and Brisbane on the New England highway with a multicultural polulation of 22,000. There are 2 independent girls' schools and and 1 boys' school - all K-12. There are Catholic primary and secondary schools, a Steiner school and an aboriginal school. The New England Regional Conservatorium of Music ensures a very active musical life while the New England Regional Art Museum hosts a number of local and visiting exhibitions and educational activities.
